Learning XGen

To prepare for an upcoming project, I've been playing around with XGen, especially the Interactive Grooming tools, to better understand how it works and how I can use it to create hair & fur.

Now that I have a basic understanding of XGen's grooming tools, rendering it on our SCAD Renderfarm, and optimizing my scenes for XGen, I'm excited to work more with grooming fur & hair. Though the frizzy cave-woman hairstyle or the wild hairy bird are not what I'd consider finished works, they helped me learn these techniques, and I'm excited to help create better versions of these characters in the future.
